In golf, it’s hard to keep your head down. Especially when the course is this beautiful.

Since Donald Ross first finished Lakeside Park Club over 100 years ago, the course has been an enduring testament to quality design. Today, LPC still holds up as not only a challenging 18 holes, but an enjoyable “walk in the park.” Often, our members play a quick round and still have a fall day ahead of them. The fairways are immaculate and the greens are often described as the fastest, most tricky surfaces in Richmond. All in all, golfers of every skill level can find something to love at LPC.

Junior PGA

Lakeside Park Club participates in the PGA Jr. League – a welcoming team format that creates an environment for every child to become a golfer. Our team is open to ages 6 thru 13 of all abilities. The recreational nature of the regular season provides opportunities for skill and character development - on and off course - in addition to plenty of opportunities for fun with friends.

Playing from the family tees, our team is all about the recreational and developmental nature of regular season games, held between March 1 and July 31. During the course of one game, teams play four 9-hole matches in a popular two-person scramble format, reinforcing the team concept and creating a nurturing environment for learning the game. Coaches can also substitute players every three holes, so that all of our golfers participate.
